Moose Jaw Police responded to 31 calls for service.

7:15 am – Highway 1 E at Highway 39 – Assist Other Agency – There was a vehicle rollover with injuries. The scene was turned over to the RCMP.

11:59 am – 1600 Block 9th Av SW – Uttering Threats – An out of control teenager was causing issues in a residence. The police attended and spoke with all parties involved. The teen was detained for uttering threats, and the individual was charged and released on conditions for court at a later date.

12:33 pm – 1100 Block 9th Av NW – Found Property – A blackberry cell phone was found in the backyard of a residence and was turned in to police.  The rightful owner is to be contacted to retrieve the phone from the police station.

1:12 pm – 1100 Block Currie Cr – Assault – This Occurred on October 27. Police are to speak with the complainant and the victim.

1:17 pm – 700 Block Main St N – Theft – A bag of candy valued at approximately $10.00 was taken. Police are still investigating to obtain video to identify the suspect.

2:46 pm – 1200 Block Vaughan St – Theft – An iPhone 4 was taken from a residence on October 18 by a person known to the complainant. Police are to speak with the suspect.

3:39 pm – 300 Block River St W – Theft of Auto – A 2016 black Stealth Trailer bearing Sask plate 812 JVD was stolen sometime overnight.  The trailer and plate were added to database as stolen. Police are still investigating to review the video.

3:53 pm – 1800 Block Caribou St W – Dispute – There was a verbal dispute between two parties after a dog was hit. Police mediated the situation.

5:56 pm – 9th Av SW at Lillooet St W – Erratic Driving – A vehicle was being driven at high rates of speed in and out of traffic. A vehicle description and plate number provided did not match for follow up.

6:53 pm – 1400 Block Regal Place – Suspicious Person – A subject in the area was going door to door looking for a cell phone lost the previous night.  The subject was located and spoken to by police. The subject was turned over to friends for the night.

7:02 pm – 0 Block Broda Terrace – Theft – Sask plate 202 KKM was stolen off a vehicle sometime overnight.  The plate was added to the database as stolen.

7:39 pm – 200 Block Fairford St E – Dispute – There was a verbal dispute between two parties.  Police mediated the situation.

7:41 pm – 1000 Block 7th Av NW – Well Being Check – The subject was located and was in good health.

8:18 pm – 0 Block Wood Lily Dr – Noise Bylaw – A neighbour was making lots of noise and sounded like they were yelling at someone. The residence was attended and the subject was warned under the bylaw.  The subject was just yelling at themselves while working out.

8:49 pm – 0 Block Diefenbaker Dr – Assault – A victim was assaulted by a subject known to them. The suspect fled the area on foot. The suspect was located by police, detained in cells for the night, and is to be released by a judge on conditions in the morning.

9:00 pm – 200 Block Hochelaga St W – Well Being Check – A residence was attended to and no one was home. Police attended to the hospital and located the subject receiving the treatment needed.

11:37 pm – 1100 Block Currie Cr – Noise Bylaw – Loud music was coming from a residence. Police attended and warned the homeowner under the bylaw.

Police responded to six 911 calls.
