Moose Jaw Police responded to 50 calls for service. 

10:51 am – 500 block 24th Ave. N. W. – Motor Vehicle Accident – This involved two vehicles. Both were towed, there were no injuries, and there was $25,000 of damage.  One person was charged with driving without due care and attention.

11:25 am – 100 block Manitoba St. E. – Mischief – A rear window was smashed out of a car sometime overnight.  There was approximately $500 of damage.

12:06 pm – 900 block Hall St. W. – Mischief – A permanent black marker was used to write on a vehicle.  There was approximately $100 of damage.

1:18 pm – 700 block 1st Ave. N. E. – Theft – There was a theft of personal items from an apartment.  The responsible person was spoken to and warned.

1:31 pm – 0 block Fairford St. W. – Assist Other Government Agency – One person was charged as per their request.

2:18 pm – 300 block Lillooet St. W. – Assistance to Sick Person – The individual was transported to the hospital and left in their care.

4:26 pm – 1200 block Main St. N. – A young child was running around the mall with no adult.  The mother was located and the child was returned.  Social Services was advised.

4:46 pm – 100 block Oxford St. W. – Theft of Bike – An AGT BMX chrome and white bike was taken during school hours.  It is valued at $240. 

5:54 pm – 900 block Hochelaga St. W. – Dog at Large – A large dog got off his rope and attacked a smaller dog.  A vet was not required.  The owners were spoken to and the situation was mediated.

8:48 pm – 1000 block 1st Ave. N. W. – Harassing Calls – There was a dispute over custody, and police gave advice.

9:21 pm  – 0 block Caribou St. W. – Assist to Locate – The subject was located and taken to hospital by ambulance.  The individual was left in their care.

11:24 pm – 0 block Diefenbaker Dr. – Assist Hospital – A patient was being unruly.  The individual was discharged into the care of a friend.

12:19 am – 1200 block Main St. N. – Shoplifting – There was a theft from a store.  Police are still investigating to view the video.

2:55 am – 100 block 1st Ave. N. E. – Break and Enter – A business was entered; the door was kicked in.  It is unknown if anything is missing at this time.  There is $300 of damage.
