8:04 am – Mischief reported on the 1100 block of Vaughan Street. Back window of vehicle broken out causing approximately $300 in damage. The matter is still under investigation. 

9:30 am – Dispute reported on the 1000 block of Connaught Avenue. The situation was mediated.

9:43 am – Bus fare dispute reported on Athabasca Street W and 9th Avenue NW. Person refusing to provide bus driver with bus pass they claimed to have. Police attended to mediate the situation and the subject was found to have outstanding warrants, arrested and released with a later court date. 

9:59 am – Hit and run reported on the 1200 block of Main Street N. Approximately $400 in damage to the passenger side of a vehicle. The matter is still under investigation. 

10:16 am – Theft reported on 100 block of High Street E. Vehicle entered overnight and a camera valued at $200 was taken. The matter is still under investigation. 

10:54 am – Theft reported on the 700 block of Ominica Street E. A vehicle was entered between 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm the previous day. A tool belt and tools valued at approximately $2500 were taken. The matter is still under investigation. 

4:05 pm – Two vehicle accident reported on Home Street E and 1st Avenue SE. No injuries to report and both vehicles required tow trucks. Two tickets were issued and there was approximately $8000 in damage. 

4:40 pm – Two vehicle accident reported on the 1100 block of 12th Avenue SW. Minor injuries reported and one driver was charged for disobey stop sign. There was approximately $15,000 in damage. 

5:20 pm – Break and enter reported on the 900 block of Stadacona Street W. The incident occurred between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. A laptop valued at $1300 was taken. The matter is still under investigation. 

6:52 pm – Police were called to the 1000 block of Hastings Street to assist to locate. Complainant requesting the well-being of a family member to be checked. Family member located a short time later and the complainant was advised of the results.
