Moose Jaw Police responded to 46 calls for service.

9:13 am – Theft – Wallet with ID in it, no cash. Reported for informational purposes should it be located and turned in.

9:45 am – MVA – A two vehicle collision occurred, and one was an out of province plate. $3000 in damages was done. No vehicles required a tow and no injuries were reported.  

10:35 am – Mischief – A disagreement between two parties led to one damaging the other’s vehicle.  The subject was charged for mischief, and was released for court at a later date.

11:46 am – Towed Vehicle –A vehicle was parked in the same spot for an extended period and was towed for being unregistered in the street.

3:14 pm – Driving Erratic – The owner of the vehicle is to be warned.   

5:13 pm – Shoplifting – A female ran out of a business with groceries. Video footage was available and $100 worth of retail was taken. The suspect is to be charged.

6:10 pm – Noise Bylaw – A radio was blaring and left on all day. The homeowner was warned and the stereo was turned down.  

6:24 pm – Theft in Progress – Individuals were taking property that didn’t belong to them. The owner was notified and stated no one should be on the property. Police talked to the persons involved. The property was returned and the situation was mediated.

6:45 pm – Assault – A bystander witnessed a male assaulting a female. The female left but was later found and able to give a statement. The male was arrested and charged with assault.   

8:31 pm –Noise Bylaw – A stereo in a garage was being played loudly for over an hour. The homeowner was warned and the stereo was turned down.  

8:57 pm – Driving Erratic – A plate number and vehicle description were obtained from a vehicle fish tailing down the street.  The registered owner was spoken to and warned of their actions.

Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in twelve cases.
Police executed two warrants.
