Moose Jaw Police responded to 49 calls for service.

8:20 am – Assault – A complainant was assaulted by an adult subject. The subject is to be charged with assault.

9:09 am – Driving Prohibited – A subject was driving while prohibited and has been charged.

9:26 am – Dog Bylaw – A dog was running loose around the area of the complainant. The dog returned home.

9:49 am – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was parked across the complainant’s driveway. The complainant called back to advise the vehicle was moved prior to police arrival.

10:14 am – Break and Enter – A complainant’s apartment was broken into. This is still under investigation for police to speak with the adult subject who may be involved.

10:28 am – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle had been parked in the same location for 48 hours. The registered owner was contacted and advised that the vehicle would be moved.

10:56 am – Break and Enter – A complainant’s house was broken into and items were taken. This is still under investigation.

11:51 am – PACT – Assistance was given to a sick person. The subject was located and a safety plan was made. 

1:58 pm – Disturbance – A subject was causing a disturbance at a business. The subject was located and will be charged.

2:35 pm – Disturbance – A subject attend to a business and was causing a disturbance. The complainant requested the subject be warned. The subject was located and warned for their actions, and they were given advice in order to mediate the situation.  

3:35 pm – Assistance to Sick Person – A complainant was worried about the well-being of a subject, and the subject was located.

4:17 pm – Driving Dangerous – A subject was reported to be driving dangerously on the road, and the subject was located. The subject was driving according to road conditions.

5:10 pm – Damage Over – Ice fell off the roof of a building, landing on a parked vehicle. There was approximately $2000.00 of damage. The city was notified and a name exchange was completed.

5:11 pm – Weapons Call – A subject was found in the possession of a weapon. The subject was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.

5:32 pm – Fraud – A complainant’s vehicle was entered and items were taken. The matter is still under investigation.

6:24 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle has been parked in the same spot for several months. Police attempted to contact the registered owner. The tires have been marked and will be checked on in 48 hours.

7:04 pm – Found Property – Items were found and turned into the Police Service for destruction.

10:04 pm – Well Being Check – A complainant was concerned about the well-being of an adult subject. The subject was located in good health.

10:16 pm - Suspicious Person – A subject was displaying concerning behaviour. The subject was located and in good health.     

Police charged one with breach of recognizance.
PACT responded on five occasions.
Police executed one warrant.
Police responded to two 911 calls.
Police responded to one alarm call.
Police responded to two city after hours calls.
