Moose Jaw Police responded to 32 calls for service.

8:44 am, 8:53 am and 9:06 am –  Power poles exploded.  SaskPower and the fire department attended and took care of all fires.

11:32 am – Break and Enter – A former tenant wanted to get his belongings.  He will make arrangements for tomorrow.

12:02 pm – Fraud – A person was the victim of a car wrapping scam. 

12:27 pm – Theft – Shoes were stolen from a dryer in an apartment building.

1:18 pm – Mischief and Public Intoxication – The subject was held until sober and was charged with mischief.

1:37 pm – Threats – Males in a red car with masks on were holding a machete and threatened the complainant.  Police are investigating to locate the suspects.

4:18 pm – Stolen Vehicle – Stolen was a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, green in color, bearing Sask Licence 633INA. 

4:33 pm – Threats – A complainant was threatened through Snap Chat.  The subject was located and warned regarding his actions.

5:13 pm – Hit and Run to Vehicle – This occurred on Sept 28th, causing approximately $2,500 of damage. 

5:19 pm – Dispute – This took place between two people, and the parties were spoken to and the situation was mediated.

6:21 pm – Attempted Theft – An unknown male was in a yard try to take the complainant’s recycling.  He put the bag back.  The area was searched, but a male matching the description was not located. 

10:04 pm – Break and Enter to Residence – The doors were insecure, but no one was in the house. 

1:46 am – Dispute Between Two People – All was quiet on police arrival.  No action was required.

3:37 am – Persons Entering Vehicles – This is still under investigation to determine what is missing from the vehicles. 

3:49 am – Evade Police – The plate number was obtained on a vehicle.  Police are investigating to speak to the registered owner of the vehicle.

Police responded to five 911 calls.
