Moose Jaw Police responded to 41 calls for service.

7:30 am – Theft of Auto – Sometime overnight a grey 2011 Nissan Altima bearing SK 821IQC was taken. The vehicle is to be added to CPIC.

7:42 am – Assist to Locate – Police assisted with locating a resident who had wandered off. They were left in the care of staff members.

9:11 am – Recovered Stolen Auto – A stolen auto was located. The vehicle was seized for processing.

9:28 am – Sometime overnight a vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was later located and seized for processing.

10:38 am – People in the area were moving things out of a business. Police spoke to the subjects who were moving the business to another location.

1:52 pm – Public Intoxication – A subject was located intoxicated and was brought to cells and held until sober.

1:57 pm – An unknown person entered a business through the staff entrance and stole cigarettes. This is still under investigation for police to view the video.

2:09 pm – Unwanted Guest – A subject was refusing to leave a residence. The subject left when asked to leave in police presence.

2:20 pm – Theft of Gas – There was a report of a gas drive off with the plate number obtained. The subject was identified in video, and police are investigating for charges.

2:53 pm – Theft – Sunglasses and prescription glasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. This was reported for information purposes.

2:59 pm – Mischief –There was a report of 3 boys in a yard when the homeowner wasn’t home. The boys went to get a ball out of the yard and left, and no further police action was needed.

3:23 pm – Break and Enter – There was a report of a break and enter to a garage with a suspect on video. The subject is to be charged.

4:42 pm – Suspended Driver – During a routine traffic patrol a driver was stopped who was suspended and impoundable. The vehicle was impounded for 30 days, and the driver was issued tickets.

5:00 pm – Dispute – There was a dispute between two parties regarding property. The property was returned to the owner.

5:07 pm – Assault – A statement was provided. Police are still investigating for charges.

5:32 pm – Theft – Items were stolen from a vehicle, and this was reported for informational purposes.

7:35 pm – Well-Being Check – Subjects were located in fine health in the care of family members. The complainant was advised.

9:09 pm – Disturbance – A subject was causing a disturbance in a dwelling unit. The subject was spoken to and advised to keep it down for the night and to make an effort to get along with the neighbours.

10:59 pm – Dispute – There was a dispute between two old roommates over belongings. Both parties wre spoken to and advised to contact their landlord in the morning.

3:12 am – Suspicious Vehicle – There was a report of a person slumped over the steering wheel in a vehicle. The results of an ASD demand was a pass. The subject said they were just taking some time to cool off after a dispute and had fallen asleep.
