The Stats Canada's workforce statistics are in for November.

The region of Swift Current and Moose Jaw has been marked with the one of the lowest unemployment rates in the entire country once again this month, just as it has been in recent memory.

The unemployment rate, at 3.4%, sees the southwest's rate increase 0.4% from November, 2015.

Although the unemployment rate is up and population for the region is down 600 since this time last year, there are still positive numbers.

Both the labour force and the amount of employed individuals in the region are up.

2016 saw the labour force increase by 1300, while the amount of employed individuals rose by 1000.
