John Morris gets the nod for the Liberal Party as politicians prepare for the next provincial election in Saskatchewan.

The three major political parties now have their candidates set for the next provincial election in Moose Jaw North.

We know long-time NDP MLA Glenn Hagel is seeking re-election and the Saskatchewan Party has nominated Warren Michelson.

Wednesday night, 39 year old John Morris ran uncontested for the Liberal nomination. "I believe we are gathering momentum and we've done a lot of work. It was certainly a big boost to have Mr. Dion and Mr. Karwacki and some other well known federal Liberals come to town and have a convention so its certainly helping out."

Federal Liberal Leader Stephane Dion and Provincial Leader David Karwacki were in Moose Jaw last weekend.

Morris has worked for the Saskatchewan Liberal Party as an employee and a volunteer for over 20 years.
