For almost 25 years, local residents have been able to enjoy live music every Wednesday throughout the summer months, thanks to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation.

Concerts in the Park is back for another year and took over the amphitheater in Crescent Park for the first time this season Wednesday night.

"It's just a wonderful summertime activity where people can bring out their entire families, it's what I always call toe tappin' good music," explained Executive Director Kelly McElree. "Over the years concerts in the park have raised over $105,000 for both the Union Hospital and now the Dr.F.H. Wigmore hospital. And this year funds raised at concerts in the park are going towards a new state-of-the-art ultrasound, which is a part of our surgical campaign for the entire year."

Not only is this weekly event fun for the whole family, but it also serves as a chance to fundraise for more equipment to be at our local hospital.

"The foundation has been doing this each and every single year and we do it because it's a way to say thank you to the community and all of our donors for being so supportive of the foundation and for helping patients at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital."

During a break in the performance every Wednesday evening a collection plate is passed around to help the Moose Jaw Health Foundation creep closer to their goal and progress in acquiring life saving equipment.

Almost all of the performances start each night at 7 pm. Below is a list of the 2018 schedule for Concerts in the Park.
