flu vaccine

It's getting colder, more of us will be starting to get sick and as we gather inside to beat the cold, the flu will begin to spread.

Moose Jaw Public Health will be having flu vaccination clinics set up starting Monday to help fight the spread of the flu this winter. Public Health Officer Dr. Mark Vooght says we can help in the spread as well. "Apart from the vaccine is good hygiene. Washing one's hands often and coughing into your armpit or shoulder... that is a very important way of stopping the transmission, especially to vulnerable people."

Clinics start Monday, October 17th at the Co-op and Cosmos Centre here in Moose Jaw from 9 till 11:45am and 1:15pm to 3:45pm.  There are other clinics scheduled leading into November, click here for details.
