It's the one weekend thousands of Saskatchewan country music fans look forward to every year.  Country Thunder is getting underway in the valley today.

A local fan explained her love for the festival on social media last night.  She wrote, "People do not understand my love for Craven.  Some...assume the worst...others hate crowds."

"I have met the best Craven neighbours in history.  I spend time with some of my favourite people for the whole weekend...There are things you don't do in normal society like randomly high-fiving people as you walk down the street, walk around in rubber boots and bikini tops, display comical signs and shirts", and, "I have seen some of the best country acts in history."

Well, one of her followers says, "I can't wait to see you this year.  I share your love."

Another writes, "I love your love for Craven."

And the kicker?  "I'll be cheering for your good time over there, but I'm gonna stay over here."

Play safely, kids.
