He said, "I have a place to stay, I have food, I have friends, I have my church family."

He is Jeff Myers.  He is from Moose Jaw.  He is alive and well and very grateful for what he has after battling health issues, losing his job, falling into depression and attempting suicide.

Jeff told the community his story on The Heartland at Noon on 800 CHAB.  That took a lot of courage.  He's sharing his story with hope that you will join him in The Coldest Night of the Year walk a week from this Saturday.  It's to bring awareness to homelessness and to raise money for the local Riverside Mission.

Jeff credits the people at the mission for turning his life around.  He was unemployed and broke with nowhere to go when he reached out.  Riverside Mission gave him food and shelter and support.

You can support the mission by participating in The Coldest Night of the Year.  You can get all the information you need at RiversideMission.ca or by calling 624-0137.
