You've heard of the "American Dream".  What's the "Canadian Dream"?

Well, these days, it's freedom along with financial and environmental health, according to the findings of a recent study from Angus Reid, commissioned by Mogo Inc., a digital payment and financial tech company.

Asked what they think is "the most important aspect of the Canadian Dream", 33% said "financial security" while 24% said "freedom to follow personal dreams", 11% said "buying a home", 11% said "living without discrimination" and 6% said "having a family".

And, it's interesting to note, 21% of Canadians selected "environmental protection" is part of their Canadian Dream.

Also, when asked what is most important to them personally, 33% of Canadians said "providing for their loved ones" while 29% said "enjoying life right now" and 11% said "building wealth".

And, I'm thinking, most of those 11% are the people who want to take their Canadian Dream to Arizona, Mexico, Florida and California to get away from the Canadian winter.  Right?
