They're happy it happened and glad it's over.

The players, coaches and staff of our Moose Jaw Warriors busted out of the bubble in Regina yesterday and made their way back home after two months of hockey and isolation.

The Warriors joined the other teams in the Western Hockey League's East Division for a 24 game, COVID-shortened hockey season in Regina.  All involved stayed in students' residences at the University of Regina.  The only outings allowed were bus trips to and from the Brandt Centre for practice and games.

They did it for player development and they did it for the love of the game.  Playoffs are not in the cards.  A champion will not be crowned.

I can only imagine how good it feels for these guys to be back at home today, waking up in their own beds and getting reacquainted with their partners, children and their pets.

And, today, I want to say "thank you" to all involved.  The Warriors gave us something to talk about, some great entertainment and something to look forward to for a couple of months.  It was most enjoyable.
