Yvette Moore presents Mayor Deb Higgins with a print of the city hall clock tower

Moose Jaw City Council now has a memento of their time at City Hall. Local artist Yvette Moore presented councillors and the mayor with a print of her new painting of the City Hall Clock Tower.  The clock was first set in motion on August 7, 1914 at 10am, making this its centennial year. The tower was manufactured in England and, in a nod to the famous "Big Ben" clock housed in Elizabeth Tower in London, England, the Moose Jaw version was reportedly named "Big Cliff" as a retirement gift to a former city employee who had worked on the tower for a number of years.
