Making hay while the sun shines or just trying to get as much of the crops off as possible, either way farmers are putting in some long days while they have the dry weather, especially with the threat of rain in the forecast.

This week is unsettled as we get a late summer heat wave with a good amount of humidity.  We'll be in the upper 20's and even the low thirties for the rest of the week and with that comes the chance of storm activity.

A cooling trend is expected to move in for the weekend, ushering us towards fall.
