The RCMP are currently investigating the death of Logan Curtis Ring (name released with permission of the family) from Swift Current. The death is currently being treated as a homicide at this time.

Logan was 21 years old and was found at approximately 10:30 a.m. on November 17 in the parking lot of the “Rings, Ruts and Remnants Interpretive Trail” in the park, on the south shore of Lake Diefenbaker, in the Saskatchewan Landing, located 50 km North of Swift Current, just off Hwy #4. He was located close to a blue, 1991 Ford Explorer that was registered in his name.

RCMP are asking anyone with information about the following to contact police:

-        Traffic in and out of the park and parking lot from November 14 -17

-        any descriptions of activity, people or vehicles observed in the area during that same time

-        Logan Ring’s activities and whereabouts prior to his death
