The City of Moose Jaw is advising residents of closures on Main Street North by the highway.

Crews will be restricting the north and south bound lanes to single lane traffic for auger boring that needs to take place.

Kunle Williams, Engineering Manager for the City of Moose Jaw says with all the work taking place, it's important for residents to drive carefully.

"We need residents who are making their way outside Moose Jaw to tread cautiously around the work and the locations mentioned."

"The auger directional drilling has to go under the pavement, which will allow traffic to be able to go on the paved road, rather than having that section of road being closed down completely."

The restrictions are a part of the Buffalo Pound to Moose Jaw Water Supply Transmission Line Project run from July 16th to August 3rd.

Williams says traffic and detour signage will be in place.
