Snow and rain over the last several days have done a number to local roads and highways, contributing to several collisions around southern Saskatchewan.

In the city there's a lot of slush, snow and icy sections making it difficult to stop in the case of an emergency. On the highways, there are a wide range of conditions being reported leading to vehicles hitting in the ditch, including an ambulance on Highway 2 south of Moose Jaw.

We're expecting conditions to stay this way for the majority of the week with a chance of some sun for the weekend. However, daytime highs are supposed to stay below normal into next week.
