The man who bought the two Moose Jaw McDonald's restaurants last winter is already being recognized for his skills as a franchisee. Doug Dooley came to Saskatchewan from Dauphin, Manitoba last December and bought the two local restaurants along with another two in Swift Current.
He has now been awarded the 2009 Franchisee of the Year award from McDonald's Canada. This isn't the first time Dooley has been recognized by the top brass from McDonalds. Back in 2004, he was singled out as the franchisee of the year for his Dauphin restaurant.
