Two fatal collisions are now under investigation after a terrible weekend on Highway 2.

On Sunday, a pair of north and southbound vehicles collided head on around 6km north of Moose Jaw, around 4:30 in the afternoon. RCMP say an 80-year old Moose Jaw woman who died after her northbound car suddenly crossed the center line and smashed into a southbound pickup truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene while the male driver and female passenger of the southbound truck were rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  

The highway was blocked until just before 11pm as RCMP investigated. Weather is not believed to be a factor.
 
Then on Saturday evening, two more vehicles collided head on around 6:15pm near Holdfast on Highway 2, just north of Highway 11. One man was killed while a second was taken to Regina in serious condition by S.T.A.R.S Air Ambulance.

No names have been released at this time.
