Tristin Langan has caught fire for the Moose Jaw Warriors and it has been recognized by the Western Hockey League, as he was named Player of the Week on Monday.

The 20-year-old picked up three goals and nine points in the Warriors' three wins last week. 

Langan had a goal and four points in Moose Jaw's 7-0 win over the Tri-City Americans on Tuesday. He followed that up with two goals, including the game-winner in the Warriors' 3-2 victory in Lethbridge on Saturday. The big week ended with Langan chipping in with three helpers during Sunday's 9-1 win for the Warriors over Kootenay.

The Swan River, MB product leads the Warriors with 15 goals and 33 points in 19 games this season. He's just one goal shy of his career-high and nine points away from passing his best point total, both set in 70 games last season.

The Warriors have points in five straight games and scored 19 goals in their three games last week. 

Moose Jaw returns to the ice on Friday night when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings. Saturday's game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes will be played at 2:30 p.m. at Mosaic Place.
