The Moose Jaw Warriors will have three players on the ice in Sweden when the 2019 IIHF Under-18 World Championship kicks off on Thursday.

Brayden Tracey and Daemon Hunt were named to Canada’s final roster on Wednesday, while import forward Yegor Buyalski has cracked Team Belarus.

All three were in their rookie seasons with the Warriors in 2018-19. Tracey led the CHL in rookie scoring with 81 points, while Hunt finished with 20 and Buyalski had 14.

Hunt is one of just two underage players on Team Canada.

Canada opens the tournament against Finland on Thursday at 11:30 a.m, while Belarus squares off with the Czech Republic at 7:30 a.m.
