The Saskatchewan Roughriders are hoping that Jamal Morrow's collegiate success can translate over to the CFL this season.

The 24-year-old running back signed with the Riders after a stellar four-year career with the Washington State University Cougars.

Morrow (5'8 - 205 lbs.) finished third in WSU school history with 4,219 all-purpose yards during 50 career games. The California product registered 316 carries for 1,795 rushing yards with nine touchdowns, while also adding 202 catches for 1,748 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Morrow will join a running back group that includes Tre Mason, free agent signing William Powell, Marcus Thigpen, Keenan LaFrance and Taye Davis.

The Riders open training camp next month.
