A local team curling team had an end to remember last week.

The Riverview Collegiate mixed curling team scored an eight-ender during their league game last Thursday at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.

Jacob Gyman, Terran Huyghebaert, Tenisha Zinn, and Kalen Horsnall orchestrated the rare feat.

In curling action on Monday night, Makenna Simmons stole six in the sixth end to knock off Murray Stroeder in the Original 16 Cash League. It was the Simmons’ rink first win of the season as they improve to 1-8, while Stroeder drops to 5-5.
