Jake Williams' hat trick helped pace the Moose Jaw Bantam Mustangs to a 10-7 win over the Regina Honeybadgers on Thursday night at Mosaic Place.

The win improves Moose Jaw’s record to 4-1-1 on the year in the South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League.

The Mustangs trailed 3-2 after one, but jumped in front 6-5 after two before adding four more goals in the third period for the win.

Ethan Johnson helped power the Musangs with a goal and three poins. Eric Woodley and Brennan Watterson picked up a goal and two points each for Moose Jaw, while Rowan Calvert, Carter Michaluk, Davin Williams  and Liam Fitzpatrick also scored.

The Mustangs are off for the next week before returning to the court on Saturday, May 26 for a doubleheader against the Estevan Voltz at Affinity Place.

Coming up this weekend, the Midget Mustangs are on the road in Weyburn on Friday night to face the Thrashers at 7 p.m. while the Peewee Mustangs head to Estevan on Saturday to square off with the Voltz.
