The over 250,000 kilometres of roads in Saskatchewan have finally melted to reveal what may just be the winner of this year’s CAA’s Worst Road Campaign.

The CAA Worst Road Campaign provides an opportunity for all road users, such as motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, and passengers to nominate and vote for the worst, or most unsafe, roads in the province.

Voting began on April 9, and runs through to April 29, 2024, with each user submitting one vote per road every 24 hours. The winners will be crowned the 2024 CAA Top Ten Worst Roads and will be announced on April 30, 2024.

The campaign was launched to bring awareness to the hazards posed by crumbling infrastructure, poor signage and general disrepair, while bringing these issues to stakeholders such as the government and business leaders in the hopes of generating conversation and action.

The end goal of the CAA’s Worst Road Campaign is better roads and safety for all road users.

New for this year is a chance to win one $1,000 Shell Gift Card through a random draw of all eligible votes.
