It was a chilly start to the day for a number of Moose Javians as the power went out to an area of the city.

SaskPower Crews were out early to attend to an area of South Hill in the West Heath zone, around Spadina and Glendale who were impacted by a power outage. From about 4:30 to 10:30 Thursday morning, about 50 customers were affected.

The cause was is believed to be an underground cable fault – according to SaskPower, something went wrong with an underground power line.

Situations such as these often take more time to find and diagnose the problem on account of them being underground, and they sometimes will take longer to fix for that reason as well.
