Two people were declared dead following the Friday, April 6 collision on Highway 2 that occurred 30 km north of Moose Jaw. 

RCMP say two vehicles were involved in the crash that saw a portion of the highway closed for several hours.  

The driver of one of the vehicles was killed, along with a passenger in the second vehicle. One individual who died was a 56-year-old man from Fort McMurray, and the other was a 52-year-old woman from India. 

The driver and two passengers in the second vehicle went to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  

The incident is still under investigation, and the families of the deceased have been notified.
