The City of Moose Jaw is advising that traffic signals will be upgraded at the 1st Avenue NW & Fairford St. intersection starting Tuesday, October 18.

The project will begin with the removal of existing traffic signal infrastructure and that work is scheduled to be completed October 18-26 (weather permitting). The intersection will function as a temporary four-way stop until the new traffic signals are installed and operational.

No detours or road closures are anticipated until the new traffic signal infrastructure is installed in early November. Construction crews will be working along 1st Avenue NW and Fairford St. beginning October 18.

The City of Moose Jaw asks all drivers to obey signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
