Moose Jaw Warriors goaltender Carl Tetachuk has been named the WHL's Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Feb. 20.

Tetachuk posted a 1-0-0-1 record this past week in a pair of road games with a goals-against-average of 0.96, a .996 save percentage and one shutout.

He started the week with a shutout in his hometown against the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Feb. 15, stopping all 33 shots he faced in regulation and overtime in a 1-0 shootout loss versus the Hurricanes.

Tetachuk would then turn aside 23 of 25 shots on Saturday night in a 4-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders. Tetachuk's record for the 2021-2022 season is now 22-10-3-2.

In 134 career WHL regular-season appearances, Tetachuk holds a 72-38-8-8 record, a 2.98 goals-against average, .905 save percentage and six shutouts. Tetachuk and the Moose Jaw Warriors are scheduled to return to action Friday when they play host to the Swift Current Broncos at 7 p.m. at Mosaic Place.
