Swift Current Municipal RCMP are asking the public to help them find Lane Anthony Purves.

The 28-year-old man is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing 200 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. Notable features include a neck tattoo with lettering, a hand tattoo with the word "king", and a scar on his left cheek.

Purves is being sought by both Swift Current Municipal RCMP and Assiniboia RCMP for a number of charges, including theft of a motor vehicle, breaking and entering, mischief causing damage, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, failure to comply with a release order, failure to attend court, and failure to attend for the purposes of Identification of Criminal Act.

Anyone with information on Purves' location is asked to call Swift Current Municipal RCMP at 306-778-4870, or to make an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-888-8477.
