Thursday night was a good night for the Sunningdale Grizzlies volleyball teams as they captured both the Prairie South elementary city titles.

The Grizzly boys needed four sets to knock off the Westmount Jets, winning the final three sets after dropping the first sets of the match (19-25, 25-18, 25-18 and 25-20).

It wasn't easy for the Sunningdale girls either as they had to battle through three sets against the King George Cougars to come away with the win, finishing them off in straight sets (25-16, 25-23 and 25-15).

The boys bronze medal went to King George, who topped Cornerstone in a five-set battle (18-25, 25-14, 19-25, 25-12 and 25-19). The Palliser Heights Huskies won the girls bronze medal with a four-set win over Prince Arthur (26-24, 25-10, 14-25, 25-20).
