The Moose Jaw high school curling season is in full swing with the second league night of the season hitting the ice on Thursday afternoon at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.

The three boys games were very lopsided affairs. Avonlea came away with a 10-2 win over Central 2; Peacock 1 dominated Central 1, 11-1; and Peacock 2 picked up an 11-2 win over Vanier 2.

There were some tighter games in the girls/mixed division with three games hitting the ice.

The Vanier girls rolled to an 8-3 win over Riverview Mixed; the Cornerstone girls picked up a 4-1 win over the Peacock girls; and the Peacock mixed squad demolished the Avonlea girls, 12-4.

The league will return to the ice next Thursday.
