severe weather watch

After a beautiful weekend on the prairies, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for southwestern Saskatchewan, Swift Current, Cabri and Lucky Lake are all under the watch at this point.

Environment Canada says an unstable air mass is sitting over the southern portion of the province right now and storms are expected today in some areas. That could include rain, thunder, lightning, hail and damaging winds

This unstable system is expected to stick around for several hours.  We'll keep you up to date as things develop.  We're expecting a high of 33 degrees today in Moose Jaw and we could get a piece of this storm activity.
