The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation (STF) announced on Friday morning that they will have a one-day rotating strike on Monday, March 4 that is set to impact a number of Moose Jaw schools.

With the spring legislative session starting on Monday, Saskatchewan teachers will be striking outside the Saskatchewan Legislative Building from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The strike will see teachers from the following places in Moose Jaw withdrawing professional and voluntary services for the day:

  • Prairie South School Division - all schools
  • Saskatchewan Distance Learning Corporation - South Central Campus (Moose Jaw)
  • Association Locale des Enseignantes et des Enseignants Fransaskois - École Ducharme

This job action is in addition to a provincewide withdrawal of extracurricular activities on Tuesday, March 5th and Wednesday, March 6th.
