That's a wrap on the 2022-23 regular season for the Moose Jaw Warriors, as they split the weekend. On Friday night, it was a 5-3 win over the Prince Albert Raiders and then fell 6-3 to the Saskatoon Blades at home on Saturday night in their regular-season finale. Their focus now shifts to the first round of the WHL Playoffs, which kicks off on Friday night at the Hangar against the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The puck drop for Game 1 is at 7:00 p.m. and all the action can be found on Country 100.

Team Saskatchewan from the Moose Jaw Curling Centre won the Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship on home ice on Friday.

Lead Moose Gibson, second Darwin Bender, third Marie Wright and skip Gilbert Dash downed Northern Ontario 6-2 in the final.

For Marie Wright, this is her fourth national title and she said it was great to win it in front of the hometown crowd.

"You look up in the crowd and you see the fans waving and sometimes they were even doing the wave it was great to see," she said.

The defending champs will try and do it again as Moose Jaw will be hosting nationals next year as well.
