The Moose Jaw Miller Express won two-of-three games this weekend and remain two games above the Swift Current 57s in the Western Canadian Baseball League’s East Division.  They took down the 57s twice over the weekend by scores of 6-3 and 12-9, before losing to the Regina Red Sox 12-9 on Sunday afternoon.  

The Millers are off on Monday and host Swift Current Tuesday night at Ross Wells Park at 7:05 p.m.

It was a busy weekend for the Moose Ice Girls U13A, U15A, and the U17A teams as they all hosted their home tournament. The U13 Ice picked up a silver losing in the final to the Regina Saints 3-2. The U17 A Ice captured gold in their tournament beating the Regina Saints 6-5 in the final. The U15 A Ice went 1-2 in their tournament.  

In the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League... The 18U AAA Canucks lost 6-4 to the Regina Wolfpack on Sunday, the 18U AAs suffered a loss to the Saskatoon Blue Jays on Saturday, and the 15U AAA Canucks took two of four over the weekend in two doubleheaders.  

The Moose Jaw Little League Minor AAA Miller Express are League Champions with a 10-8 win over the North Regina River Bandits on Sunday. 

The 12U Mustangs took home the 2022 South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League championship going undefeated in the playoffs and winning the gold medal game with an 8-2 win over the Regina Crossfire. 

Right-hander Kevin Gausman gets the start as the Toronto Blue Jays begin an eight-game homestand by hosting the Boston Red Sox Monday night at Rogers Centre.  The Jays have dropped seven of their last 10 games and sit tied for fourth in the American League East.
