The Moose Jaw Warriors were able to pick up a possible four points over the weekend. On Friday night, they doubled up the US Division's Portland Winterhawks 4-2 with Eric Alarie getting the game-winner and a 42-save performance from Connor Ungar. Then on Saturday, travelled east to Brandon and snuck by the Wheat Kings 4-3. Brayden Yager had the game-winner for his 19th of the season. 

The Warriors are back on home ice on Tuesday night, as they welcome the Saskatoon Blades to the Hangar for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop. James Gallo has the call on Country 100 starting at 6:40 p.m. with the pre-game show. 

It was a weekend split for the Moose Jaw WINMAR AAA Warriors up in Warman. They fell to the Wildcats on Friday night 7-4 and then came back on Saturday with a 5-3 win to push them back up into a playoff spot. The big performer for the Warriors was Grady Hoffman who had a five-goal weekend. They are back in action on Monday in Regina against the Pat Canadians at 8:00 p.m. 

The U15 AA Warriors also had a weekend split, losing 5-2 to Yorkton on Friday and then taking down the Prairie Storm on Saturday 7-5. Moose Jaw U18 AA Warriors were in action on Saturday, as they lost 7-2 to Yorkton in Caronport. 

Team Canada struck gold at the 2023 U18 Women's World Hockey Championship on Sunday, as they routed the host Sweden 10-0 to capture back-to-back gold medals. 

Three Canadian NHL teams were in action on Sunday night. Montreal snuck by the Rangers 2-1, Vancouver took down Carolina 4-3 in a shootout, and Winnipeg won 2-1 at home against Arizona. 

And in the NFL Super Wildcard Weekend, the 49ers took down Seattle 41-23, Jacksonville came back to beat the Chargers 31-30, Buffalo snuck by Miami 34-31, the Giants stunned the Vikings on the road 31-24, and the Bengals survived against Baltimore 24-17.
