The Moose Jaw Events Centre is going to be rocking this weekend with lots of hockey to be played. 

Starting with the Western Hockey League's Moose Jaw Warriors, they welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday and then the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night - both games are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and can be heard on Country 100. 

Moving over to the Moose Jaw WINMAR AAA Warriors they also have a pair of home games this weekend. On Saturday afternoon, they welcome the Tisdale Trojans for the final time this season, then the Warman Wildcats come to the Moose Jaw Events Centre on Sunday. Both games are at 1:30 p.m. 

The Moose Jaw U15 AA Warriors did what no one has been able to do this year. They took down the unbeaten Regina Monarchs on Thursday night 6-5 on the road. Carson Deichert had the game-winner on the powerplay with just over a minute left in the game. 

The annual Moose Jaw Mavericks Female Classic Hockey Tournament kicks off on Friday afternoon and will run until Sunday. The three-day day event will feature 30 teams across five divisions. 

Over to the Viterra Saskatchewan Scotties Tournament of Hearts taking place in Estevan this weekend.  Moose Jaw's Penny Barker is 0-2, and Amber Holland is 1-1, the action continues on Friday. Follow along with the tournament HERE

In the National Lacrosse League, the Saskatchewan Rush hosts the Las Vegas Desert Dogs on Saturday night at the SaskTel Centre at 7:00 p.m. 

And in NHL action on Thursday, Montreal fell 4-3 in overtime to Detroit, the Jets lost 3-2 to Buffalo at home, and Calgary dropped a 5-1 decision to Chicago.
