Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a special weather statement for Moose Jaw and the surrounding area. 

Heavy snowfall is expected this weekend in Southern Saskatchewan. 

The snowfall is expected to begin on Saturday in the western parts of the province, moving south and expanding east throughout the day. 

Environment and Climate Change Canada is expecting 10 to 20 centimetres of snow across most of Southern Saskatchewan as some pockets could see up to 30 centimetres. 

The snow is expected to leave the province on Sunday night.
