Water samples from South Hill have been sent to the provincial lab for testing.

This is because of the water main break that occurred late Friday evening that caused South Hill and 15 Wing to go into a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA).

The provincial lab is closed on Sundays, but opened its doors in order to test the samples for residents of South Hill and 15 Wing.

The City is expecting results in the afternoon of September 25th (Monday) and will reveal if the water is safe to drink again.

Until the tests come in for confirmation, the PDWA is still in effect, and residents still must boil their water for safety.
