There were another six cases added today to the province’s list of COVID-19 case for a total of 326.

Nine more recoveries were announced today as well, dropping the number of active cases to 61.  

The total number of recoveries is now 261. Five people are in hospital in the province, and one of those people are in intensive care with the rest in inpatient care.

The death toll in Saskatchewan has once again stayed at four.

Of the cases, 136 are travel-related, 135 are community contacts or mass gatherings, 32 have no known exposures and 23 are under investigation by public health.

Thirty-six of the cases are health care workers, and the province says the infections may not be because of their health care in all instances.

A total of 150 of the cases are from the Saskatoon area, 71 are from the Regina area, 61 are from the north, 18 are from the far north, 15 are from the south and 11 are from the central region.

Twenty-six cases are of people 19 and younger, and 73 are in the 60-and-older range. Fifty-two  per cent of the cases are male and 48 per cent are female.

Thusfar, 25,321 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.
