The first-ever Moose Jaw Shrine Club's Show, Shrine and Cruise Night will be taking place on Saturday at Murray GM.

If you have a classic car and would like to take part, you're asked to show up around 6:30 p.m. and the cruise night will begin at 6:45 p.m.

However, if you can't make it in person and would like to watch the event, there are ways for you to do that.

"The whole thing is actually going to be live Facebook and Instagram that night as well. So if you go to the Moose Jaw Shrine Club Facebook as well as check us out on Instagram, you are going to see the whole evening right from about 8 or so on is going to be live-streamed," said Shrine Club member Aaron Ruston.

Once the cars return to Murray GM, there will be a mini-concert put on by the UNCOOLAS.

The main event will be at 11 p.m. when the Shrine Club will be raffling off a 1987 little Red Corvette.

The car was purchased by a Winnipeg man in 2019 from the Barrett Jackson Scottdale Collector Car Auction, one of the world's largest car auctions.

"We were looking for something that's unique, just like our '64 Mustang was last year. When we saw this car we jumped in the truck with a trailer, we ripped out to Winnipeg and had a look and it was something we thought would fit very nicely," Ruston said.

Tickets for the little red Corvette raffle are still available from any Moose Jaw Shrine Club member or Heritage Insurance.
