The Saskatchewan Health Authority is reminding residents that some health clinics may be reducing hours during this holiday season.

In a news release, the SHA says to make plans to visit your family physician or health care provider in advance of Christmas and New Year’s to address chronic conditions and medical needs, such as prescription refills. Be sure to consider other options if the office is closed.

If you are unsure if you can manage your medical needs at home, call HealthLine 811 for medical advice or information.  This service is available 24/7 and a licensed healthcare professional will be able to assist you.

Check the hours of walk-in clinics in Moose Jaw to plan ahead for the holiday season.

If you believe your situation is urgent, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department.
