The RCMP will be touring southern Saskatchewan this week to answer your questions and hear your concerns.

The agenda is vague; there are no planned speeches or presentations. Representatives say they want the public to lead the discussions.

"We're really hoping to hear about what these community members think about our police service, what has been working, how can we do things better. Town halls give us that opportunity," said Jessica Cantos, RCMP representative.

The Saskatchewan RCMP has recently issued a memo to the public in rural areas of southern Saskatchewan notifying them of a new policing model being put in place in the region, although no information has been provided.
