On March 30, RCMP set out a spike belt to stop a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle had initially been reported stolen to White Butte RCMP, and the suspect vehicle fled and nearly struck a police vehicle and an officer outside the vehicle when Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP attempted a traffic stop near Edgeley.

The vehicle was stopped by a subsequent spike belt set up on Township Road 200 near Edgeley, and a 35-year-old woman was arrested.

RCMP say Jessica Pangman was in Regina Provincial Court on April 1, charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent of the owner, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from a peace officer, and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.
