He was the friendly face we found at Klein's Paint, General Paint and more recently the liquor store downtown.  He always greeted his friends and customers with a smile and sincere conversation.

I first met Kenny Loftus when I started at the radio station.  We had some mutual friends and he was a client of ours - teaming up with us for advertising campaigns for the paint shop.

Ken was a polite gentleman who surrounded himself with friendly people and lived a quiet, unassuming life.  He wasn't concerned or consumed with societal pressures or expectations.  He was the kind of man who was satisfied with what he had.

We lost Ken last year to cancer.  He was only 62 years old.

As we approached the finish line at the 800 CHAB Family First Radiothon on Friday, the Moose Jaw Health Foundation proudly announced a most wonderful gift from the estate of Kenneth John Loftus - a gift of $185,000.00

Quiet, unassuming and most generous - Rest in peace, Kenny.
