Several people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries on Monday afternoon after the Moose Jaw Police Service responded to three separate car accidents in the city.

In a Facebook post released on Tuesday, police stated they responded to an accident located at MacDonald Street and 4th Ave NW. The second collision was located at Manitoba Expressway near Highway 1, and the last collision they responded to was located at Thatcher Drive East and Highway 1.

As a result, three individuals involved were transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The police are reminding residents to drive with caution as the weather warms up. The snow continues to melt but overnight freezing can still occur, creating icy conditions.

The Moose Jaw Police Service says they thank the public for their patience and cooperation as traffic was backed up for some time, forcing drivers to take alternative routes.
